Who We Are Looking For
We are raising $5,000,000 in equity to fund Mississauga City FC through to its first season in the Canadian Premier League. Anchor investment from Manewagi Technologies Inc. is already committed. We are now building out the investor syndicate.
We are seeking a leasehold agreement for a site in central Mississauga capable of accommodating a 10,000-seat temporary stadium. Five prospective sites have been identified spanning both public land (City of Mississauga parks and institutional holdings) and private land. We are open to discussions with any eligible landholder.
Mississauga is Canada's sixth-largest city and has no CPL representation. Mississauga City FC is ready to become the League's next expansion franchise, bringing professional soccer to a market of over 720,000 residents.
